I am an American who through my travels has found a place of exotic beauty and an utterly fascinating culture. Located on one of the most beautiful beaches in Brazil and just 1.5 kilometers from the historic "Quadrado" of Trancoso, "Villas de Trancoso" offers a private villa retreat (pousada and hotel) for those wanting an individual villa or exclusive use of our property (5 villas, sleeps 16).


Our goal is to provide our guests with a personalized vacation experience. We offer an environment where you have an opportunity to meet the local people if you choose, pursue adventures along our coastline, visit our village and experience the food, music, dance and culture of this wonderful country. This year we received several special recognitions. We were honored to have former Vice President and Nobel Peace Prize winner Al Gore and his wife Tipper joining us for their vacation. In 2006 Villa Golf received a first place award for best residential lighting design in Brazil. We will also appear in two travel TV programs including the Discovery Channel.
